Pamela “Jean” Bellue Stewart, a resident of Centreville, Mississippi, passed away on June 17, 2026, at Tangi Pines Nursing Home, Amite, Louisiana, at the age of 77. Jean was born on April 27, 1949, in Centreville, Mississippi, and spent her entire life in the community she loved. She dedicated many years of service to Field Clinic before retiring and was a faithful member of Centreville Baptist Church. Jean cherished her lifelong friendships and the close-knit community of Centreville. Her kindness, warmth, and steadfast presence touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her family was the center of her life, and the source of her greatest happiness. She loved her sons deeply and treasured every moment spent with her granddaughters. She is survived by her two sons, Michael and Blake Stewart, her daughter-in-law, Denise, her four grandchildren, Ashby, Aley, Sophie, and Sarah, and her great-granddaughter, Ella. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Being their “Grammy” was one of her most treasured blessings. She is also survived by her brother, Lane Bellue (wife, Cindy), who she adored and shared a close, loving bond with throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, PL and Ethelyn Bellue, and her beloved husband, Michael “Mike” Stewart, with whom she shared fifty-one years of marriage. While she will be missed beyond measure, her loved ones find comfort in the thought of her joyous reunion with Mike.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of The Lodge at Tangi Pines for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness they showed Jean during her time there. They treated her with love, dignity, and respect, embracing her as one of their own family members. Their devotion and support brought great comfort to Jean and her loved ones, and they will always be remembered with sincere appreciation.

Visitation will be held at Centreville Baptist Church on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Gaylin Fuller officiating under the direction of Newman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Stewart-Wall Cemetery in Gillsburg, Mississippi.
