Karen June Graham McGraw

Karen June (Graham) McGraw, 74, died peacefully at home in her bed this past Friday morning, January 9th in Woodville, MS. Preceding her in death were her parents, Charles David Graham Sr and June Bernard Graham and her sister Earline “Theresa” Simmons. Those awaiting reunion with her when our times come to pass are her husband “Mike” McGraw Sr; daughter, Joli and spouse Chad Darbonne; son, Michael John McGraw Jr and wife Nancy; step-daughter, Laura; sister, Melody; brothers: David and wife Becky, Christian and wife Stacye and Mitchell Graham; brother-in-law, H. K. Simmons; grandchildren: Timothy, Bailey, Nicholas, “Trippe,” Tammy, Monhini and Dean; great-grandchildren: Jaspyer and Sapphire and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mama, Memaw, and Ms. Karen led an extraordinarily full and rich life, filled with laughter, joy and wonder. Although she could be feisty and bossy, she had an undeniable love for her family, especially those grandchildren and GREAT!grandkids! She was always down for a road trip when it involved family, fishing or the beach, and was always the one that anyone could go to with a problem and would make everything better. She loved deeply; seeing each of us for who we were and willing to meet us where we were. Although she will be sorely missed, we celebrate and rejoice in her eternal happiness.

Visitation Wednesday, January 14th from 9am–11am at Woodville Baptist Church, 264 Natchez St S, Woodville, MS with service following immediately at 11am at the church and burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery Annex. Newman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
