Dorothy Lee Whittington Hughes

Dorothy was born to James Buck Whittington Junior and Etta Lee Butler Whittington on June 15, 1940. She was a Christian and loved God and tried to live daily to please Him. She was married to Richard Allen “Bubba” Hughes and they hunted and fished together everywhere.

She has two brothers and their families that survive her. Brother William Frank Whittington and wife Teleda and their children: Heather Elizabeth Roberts and husband Ritch, William Frank Whittington Junior and wife Sarah, and Janie Leigh Page and husband Justin. Brother Joseph Elliott Whittington and wife Ott and their son Joseph “Jody” and wife Natalie, and two deceased sons James Martin Whittington and Samson Lee Whittington. Many nieces and nephews Libby, Chloe and David Roberts, Emma Claire and Lily Whittington, and Sadie, Bo and Anna Page, Jacob Tyler and Anna Whittington, Charles Keith and Jennifer Hughes and their children Brad, McKenna and Nathan of Summit.
