Doris Annell Dunigan Campbell

Doris D. Campbell, 91, of Central, LA, passed away on April 22, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Lucien, MS to Marshall Dunigan and Lula W. Dunigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James M. Campbell, her nine brothers and two sisters and sister-in-law, Betty Purvis.

Mrs. Campbell is survived by daughter Shirley Galloway (Rick) and sons Jerrell Campbell (Susan), and Carl Campbell (Tonya). She is also survived by sister-in-law May Campbell and numerous nieces and nephews.

Doris was blessed with eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express our deepest gratitude to caregivers Donna Collins and Tammie Knight.

A graveside service will be held Monday, April 27, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Midway Cemetery in Meadville, MS under the direction of Newman Funeral Home.
