Dianne Boykin, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and faithful servant of the Lord, passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 83.

Dianne was born on September 15, 1943, to Wilford B. Smiley and Opal Simpson Smiley. Throughout her life, Dianne loved the Lord and cherished her family above all else. She especially treasured her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her great joy and were a constant source of love and pride.

Dianne was a faithful member of Centreville Baptist Church, where she had been a member since December 13, 1970. For more than 55 years, she was part of the church family and remained faithful in her love for the Lord and His church. Her Christian faith was an important part of who she was, and she leaves behind a testimony of faith and love that will continue through the family she so dearly cherished.

Dianne was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Kermit Boykin; her sisters, Yvonne Stutzman and her husband, Frank Stutzman, and Betty Sue Daquilla and her husband, Carl Daquilla.

She is survived by her two sons, Kermit “Kermie” Boykin and his wife, Elise, and Kenny Boykin and his wife, Lori; her brother, Bruce Smiley; her seven grandchildren; and her many great-grandchildren, along with numerous extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.

Dianne was a talented floral designer and enjoyed working alongside her sisters. Her love of flowers and her gift for creating beautiful arrangements were a special part of her life. Yet, above all of her accomplishments, Dianne's greatest joy was her family. She loved being a mother and grandmother and treasured every opportunity to spend time with those she loved.

Her family finds comfort in knowing that Dianne's earthly life has ended, but her eternal life with her Lord has begun. She will be deeply missed, but her family rejoices in the hope and promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. The love, faith, memories, and example she leaves behind will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who knew her.

The service will be officiated by Rev. Dustin Henderson. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home.

Honorary Pallbearers: Speedy Cavin, Buddy Stutzman, her seven grandchildren, and her many great-grandchildren.
